Edward Snowden has been elected with a majority of 3,347 of 6,560 votes in the final round in one of the most hotly contested elections on the Glasgow University campus in recent years. He was represented by his campaign team, with Lubna Nowak giving a prepared acceptance speech on Snowden’s behalf.
