Glasgow University Student Television, GUST, is the student television station made by students for students at the University of Glasgow. Established in 1964, we are the oldest student-run television station in the world.
We create a variety of programmes which we broadcast online here on our website. From sports to music videos, short films to animations, we create a wide variety of content. On occasion we also broadcast live via the web.
GUST meet twice weekly for our studio filming session and for our production meetings. We also offer training and workshops in a wide variety of production aspects. Whether you are more creative or technically minded, there is a place for you in GUST.
GUST is an exciting and dynamic society that is an amazing way to meet other students, learn new skills, and it is a great way to gain experience that will be valuable if you plan on entering a career in film, television or the media.
GUST is also an affiliated member of the National Student Television Association or NaSTA. We regularly communicate, work and compete with other student television stations around the UK and attend the Conference and Awards Weekend held annually.
